Terms and Conditions

1. Hi, we’re AI life builder Scholarships, a subscription service for Scholarships and awards to help you the user achieve all your dreams. When we say ‘we’‘us’ or ‘AI Life Builder’ it’s because that’s who we are and we own and run the platform along with our team based internationally to help you achieve your dreams.
2. When you create an account and accept these terms you are a registered user on the platform and can avail all our services on our platform. During your registration and application for any of our services with us you agree to follow the ground rules outlined in these terms so please read and understand them. If you don’t accept you will need to leave because your presence on and use of the AI Life builder platform is conditional on your acceptance to be bound by these terms.
3. Authority to agree to these terms: If you are a company or organization, both you and the real person who signs up on your behalf, represent and warrant that this person has the authority to bind your company or organization to our terms and conditions.
4. Your responsibility: You promise that information you give us is true, accurate and complete and that you will keep your account information up-to-date (including a current email address). Your registration is not transferable and you are responsible for any use of the site and/or any applications that occur in conjunction with your username and password so keep your password secure and don’t let any other person use your username or password. If you realise there’s any unauthorized use of your password or any breach of security you need to let us know immediately.
5. As a Subscriber you may also have access to, or be eligible for special offers in relation to, products and services provided by our partnered suppliers (Third Party Offers) to help you further achieve your goals and dreams. Information about Third Party Offers will be published on our website as when they will be available.
6. You have no obligation to redeem any Third Party Offer. However, if you choose to do so, then you will be buying the relevant product and/or service from the supplier and not from us.
7. The redemption of a Third Party Offer is subject to terms and conditions set by our partners. You should read and make sure that you agree to the applicable terms and conditions before redeeming any Third Party Offer.
8. The description of products and services forming part of a Third Party Offer published on our site, and any associated links, have been provided to us by the suppliers. While we have made reasonable efforts to check the accuracy of the descriptions, the suppliers are solely responsible for any representations contained in those descriptions. Further, we do not endorse or assume any responsibility for those products and services.
9. The suppliers might make, or be required by relevant laws to make, other promises to you as a consumer. Check their terms and conditions to see what they say.
10. You can pay for your applications via PayPal, credit card, Paytm or bank transfer. You may be required to pay a handling fee depending on the method of payment you choose.
11. By registering and applying you must agree to the individual payment terms that relate to your chosen method of payment, as notified to you.
12. Given the very cheap application fee and social service nature of our scholarship and award services, we do not offer a refund on any applications made, so please be sure that you are eligible for the scholarship or award you have applied for. Since any cancellation or withdrawal or rejection of your application on technical grounds will not qualify for any refund.
13. Disputes lodged with payment agents: As an applicant if, you lodge a dispute with a payment agent, this will result in a freezing of your application and registration account until the dispute raised with the payment agent has been cancelled.
14. Privacy and Personal Data Handling
We will use your personal information:

  1. To fulfil an application, or take steps linked to an application in particular, in facilitating and processing applications that take place on the Sites
  2. Where this is necessary for purposes which are in our, or potential third parties’, legitimate interests. These interests include:
  3. Operating the Sites;
  4. Providing you with services described on the Sites;
  5. Verifying your identity when you sign in to any of our Sites;
  6. Responding to support tickets, and helping facilitate the resolution of any disputes;
  7. Updating you with operational news and information about our Sites and services e.g. to notify you about changes to our Sites, website disruptions or security updates;
  8. Carrying out technical analysis to determine how to improve the Sites and services we provide;
  9. Monitoring activity on the Sites, e.g. to identify potential fraudulent activity and to ensure compliance with the user terms that apply to the Sites;
  10. Managing our relationship with you, e.g. by responding to your comments or queries submitted to us on the Sites or asking for your feedback or whether you want to participate in a survey;
  11. Managing our legal and operational affairs (including, managing risks relating to content and fraud matters);
  12. Training our team about how to best serve our user community;
  13. Improving our products and services;
  14. Providing general administrative and performance functions and activities;
  15. Verifying your identity by comparing a selfie taken by you against your Photo ID document using facial recognition technology (as is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims);
  16. Using data analytics to measure the effectiveness of advertising of the Sites, and improve the optimization of our products and services (including by way of data analytics tools).
  1. Providing you with marketing information about products and services which we feel may interest you; and
  2. Customising our services and websites, like advertising that appears on the Site – where this involves the use of cookies or similar technologies – in order to provide a more personalised experience.
  3. For purposes which are required by law.
  4. For the purpose of responding to requests by government, a court of law, or law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation.

14.2 We will disclose personal information to the following recipients:

  1. Companies and other related organisations that are in the AI Life Builder group which will allow us to assist and help you further to develop your life and career.
  2. If applicable, authors of any items or services made available to you, so they can facilitate support and license validation, who may be located in any of the countries our products are available in;
  3. Sub-contractors and service providers who assist us in connection with the ways we use personal information (as set out above), in particular: website hosting providers and or other educational or other institution related to higher learning and/ academic and personal development which may or may not be located in Australia, US. UK and Japan; technical and customer support services which are located in Australia, Canada, Philippines, Poland, Mexico, Romania, UK and the US; recruitment agencies which are located in Australia, US and/or other national or international jurisdictions; marketing and analytics services which are located in the US, Singapore and Israel; security and fraud prevention services which are located in the US; subscription management services which are located in the US; payment processing services which are located in the US, UK and Australia; identification verification services located in the UK; and operational tooling services which are located in the US. Noting that our subcontractors and services providers may also transfer and access such information from other countries in which they have operations;
  4. Our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, financial advisers etc.) which may be located overseas.
  5. Regulators and government authorities in connection with our compliance procedures and obligations;
  6. A purchaser or prospective purchaser of all or part of our assets or our business, and their professional advisers, in connection with the purchase;
  7. A third party to respond to requests relating to a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity;
  8. A third party, in order to enforce or defend our rights, or to address financial or reputational risks;
  9. A rights holder in relation to an allegation of intellectual property infringement or any other infringement; and
  10. Other recipients where we are authorised or required by law, or requests by government, a court of law, or law enforcement authorities, to do so.

14.2 We store personal information on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers, and occasionally hard copy files that are kept in a secure location in India. Personal information that we store or transmit for your application purposes overseas to Japan and other international Jurisdictions is protected by security and access controls, including username and password authentication, two-factor authentication, and data encryption where appropriate.
14.3 You can access some of the personal information that we collect about you by logging in to your account.
14.4 We will send you marketing communications by email about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you and help advance your education and career prospects.
14.5 When you visit our Site, there’s certain information that’s recorded which is generally anonymous information and does not reveal your identity. If you’re logged into your account some of this information could be associated with your account. We’re talking about the following kinds of details:

  1. your IP address or proxy server IP address’;
  2. the domain name you requested;
  3. the name of your internet service provider is sometimes captured depending on the configuration of your ISP connection;
  4. the date and time of your visit to the website;
  5. the length of your session;
  6. the pages which you have accessed;
  7. the number of times you access our site within any month;
  8. the file URL you look at and information relating to it;
  9. the website which referred you to our Sites;
  10. the operating system which your computer uses; and
  11. the technical capabilities of your web browser.

14.6 If you make your personal information available to other people, we can’t control or accept responsibility for the way they will use or manage that data. There are lots of ways that you can find yourself providing information to other people, like when you post a public message on a forum thread, share information via social media, or make contact with another user (such as a third party Author) whether via our Sites or directly via email. Before making your information publicly available or giving your information to anyone else, think carefully. If giving information to another user via our Sites, ask them how they will handle your information. If you’re sharing information via another website, check the privacy policy for that site to understand its information management practices as this privacy policy will not apply.
14.7 We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide the services to you and others, and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your personal information or to provide you with the scholarships or awards, you can delete your account after which we will continue to hold on to your information for a fixed period of time for our records. If you would like that information to be erased earlier please send us an email after you have deleted your account requesting that we remove your information from our data base. Please note that if you request the erasure of your personal information we may retain information from deleted accounts as necessary for our legitimate business interests, to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect fees, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations or requests by government, a court of law, or law enforcement authorities, enforce the terms of service and take other actions permitted by law. Any information we retain will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
14.8 We will need to change this policy from time to time in order to make sure it stays up to date with the latest legal requirements and any changes to our privacy management practices.
14.9 When we do change the policy, we’ll make sure to notify you about such changes, where required. A copy of the latest version of this policy will always be available on this page.

15. Confidential Information: We value your information and take reasonable precautions to protect it.
16. Eligibility, suspension or termination: Being a registered applicant is not an automatic right, it is a benefit for those who follow our terms and policies. We hope that you will benefit from our services and will advance your career and education with our assistance. But we may, using reasonable discretion, decide whether or not you may use our services and the decision for this solely resides with the creators and owners of AI life Builder and our Board of Trustees. We can suspend or terminate your registration account or application for any award or scholarship at any time for any reason (acting reasonably of course) including:

  • if you breach these terms;
  • if you act in a way that does not align with the values of our community; or
  • if you act in a way that could cause us or others harm.
  • If you lie to us regarding your abilities or qualifications needed to win an award or scholarship
  • If your values are detrimental to the fundamental policy of our programs
  • If you make an effort to malign or damage the reputation of AI Life Builder or any other participant in our programs.

17. If we do decide to permanently terminate your account and remove your application from any awards or scholarships you have applied for, you must not apply for a new account or application as unfortunately you will no longer be welcome in our community. If however you do open an account under a new name and apply for an award or scholarship we reserve the right to terminate this account and forfeit your application fees. This decision is a final decision and will be decided by the members of the board and any payments you have made for your applications will not be refunded to you.
18. Application fees: We may change our fees at any time, all fees are clearly stated before the application page and applicants must be aware of the fees incurred. There are awards and scholarships which do not need an application fee however the places on all awards and scholarships are limited and any of the advertised awards or scholarships may be closed if demand is overwhelming. AI life Builder does not guarantee that all scholarships being advertised will always be available for applying. Thus applicants are encouraged to visit the site regularly and apply for their relevant awards well in advance of the start of their course.
19. You indemnify us against all losses, costs (including legal costs), expenses, demands or liability that we incur arising out of, or in connection with, a third party claim against us relating to your use of AI life Builder, any Item or the products or services forming part of any Third Party Offer.
20. To the extent permitted under the law, the Items and all Third Party Offers are made available to you on an “AS IS” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
21. Blocking you, disabling your subscription or refusing to process a payment: We may block you, terminate your application or refuse to process a payment if we reasonably believe there is a risk associated with you, your application, or that payment, including if it breaches a law or regulation, or where we reasonably believe there is a legal or regulatory risk or a risk of loss being suffered by us or our members. You promise that you are not located in a sanctioned country and are not on a sanctioned persons list. We may also block members from a country if we can’t make payments to or from that country.. As our site is global, there are different laws that may apply and these may restrict our relationship with you.
22. Relationship between the parties: Nothing in these terms is to be construed as constituting a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us, or between you and any other member. Neither you nor us can bind each other in any way.
23. Notices: Any notice you send us must be submitted via email. Any notice we send to you will be emailed to the email address you provided to us.
24. No obligation: your application for the scholarship or award does not in any way construe that you are eligible for the award. The application is just the start of the process and does not bind AI Life Award in any way to you the applicant whatsoever. On completion of your application and payment of the relevant fee, your application will be processed pending which you will be informed in due course if your application has been successful via email. On your application being successful AI Life Builder reserves the right to ask you for more corroborating documents as evidence of the strength of your application, satisfied with which the Board of Trustees and the chairman will finally decide to award you the relevant award or scholarship. The decision of the Chairman and Board of Trustees will be final in all circumstances and their decision will be irreversible.
25. Payout Amount: The payout amount for each award shows the maximum payout for each scholarship or award. This amount does not guarantee that the full amount will be paid to the winner of the said award or scholarship. The Board of Trustees and Chairman may decide to pay the advertised award or scholarship to many different deserving candidates who have applied for the same scholarship per application cycle, in this event the advertised award or scholarship may be divided amongst all the deserving candidates. The decisions of the Chairman and Board of Trustees are final in all circumstances.
24. Changes to these terms: We may change these terms at any time and, if we make changes, we will take reasonable steps to let our registered users know about the changes before they take effect. You can also keep track of whether changes have been made to our terms by referring to the version and effective date at the footer of the terms.
25. Applicable Laws: We control and operate from our offices in India and Japan. The laws of Japan will govern these terms, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts there for the resolution of any disputes.
